I opened the Wil Brooks State Farm Insurance Agency at Ballantyne over 30-years ago. The combined insurance experience in the office is 50+ years with the purpose of being one of the most respected agencies in Charlotte.

We build lasting relationships with our policyholders by delivering the remarkable customer service. We help policyholders recover from the unexpected and fulfill their dreams while managing everyday risks. By providing:

Serving customer needs and my community are two of my greatest passions.

  • I am a founding member of the Board of Managers for the Morrison Ballantyne YMCA and past Board Chair. And, have lead many initiatives to expand the YMCA’s service to the community.

  • I am a founding member of the Mecklenburg County Rotary Club and past president. During the club’s history, we have raised over $500M dollars to serve the community. Supporting Beds for Kids, Veterans groups, Seniors, Meals on Wheels, Swim classes for the at-risk kids, Student leaders, scholarships and many other activities.

  • I have served on the South Charlotte Partners Advocacy Group Board. This group advocates for businesses, transportation, education and the arts for this community.

  • In addition, I have served the community on many other organization’s boards over the years.

I am married to my wonderful wife - we have two adult children (and a terrific son-in-law) and one granddaughter.

When not working and serving the community, I am out on the Links with my golfing buddies.
